  • Introduction

    Quantum bound systems play a significant role in understanding various phenomena at microscopic levels. The behavior and properties of macroscopic systems does depend on the behavior and properties of the quantum states at microscopic level, resulting in macroscopic states at large values of quantum numbers and distances. Bound states are very much important both from theoretical and experimental aspects. Bound states are generally characterized by discrete energy spectra and finite wave functions having definite parities. The nature and structure of the potential making the system a bound state will decide the spectra. The observed number of bound states will be the characteristic of the binding potential. Therefore, to understand the forces involved in quantum systems it is necessary to study bound states. Further the study of bound states will lead in giving proper insight for understanding structure of materials from the size of quarks to galaxies of stars.
